We have counseled local, national and international owners of real estate in the intricacies relating to the transfers of New York property both real and personal. Having both a real estate and corporate background allows us to help our clients structure their acquisitions, stock purchases, conveyances, leases, licenses, mortgages, refinancings, and other transactions in such a way as to minimize taxes and maximize flexibility. We have experience in all areas relating to the formation, operation and transfer of cooperative and condominium properties. We assist in refinancing of underlying mortgages, tenancy issues, negotiating capital improvement and alteration agreements and acting as transfer agents for apartments.
