Lisa H. Gabler


Lisa H. Gabler is a founding partner and chairs the firm's Real Estate practice. Ms. Gabler practices all facets of real property law. She has extensive experience in commercial and residential transactional work, leasing of commercial premises inside and outside New York, representation of developers of real property and cooperative corporations.

Ms. Gabler represents clients in the acquisition, sale, financing and development of commercial, retail, industrial, hotel and residential properties. She represents sellers, purchasers and institutional lenders, boards and developers in negotiations, financing and other general matters. Ms. Gabler also represents sellers and purchasers of apartment buildings and businesses.

She represents lenders including banks, savings and loan associations, institutional lenders and borrowers in all formats of commercial and residential lending and financing including real estate based and asset based lending, construction, interim, bridge and permanent financing.

Her clients include landlords and tenants in connection with their respective property interests. She represents both building owners and prospective tenants in the leasing of commercial, office and warehouse space, shopping centers, retail stores and restaurants.

Ms. Gabler also has extensive experience in General Business and Corporate law. She has acted as general counsel for several companies covering all aspects of general corporate work. Ms. Gabler has represented a wide range of companies and individuals in areas that include the negotiation of agreements with regard to the sale of retail products and services; distribution and manufacturing and employment agreements.

Lisa Gabler is a graduate of Syracuse University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey. Ms. Gabler is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and serves as an appointed member of the Association's Real Property Law Committee.

Kristen McVeety

Kristen McVeety is a founding partner and chairs the firm's General Business and Corporate practice. Ms. McVeety has significant experience in private corporate debt and equity-raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, bank financings and joint ventures.

Ms. McVeety has structured and negotiated transactions for companies in a wide range of businesses and is recognized for her ability to "close the deal" by creatively solving problems and forging consensus, while vigorously protecting her clients' interests.

She has acted as general outside counsel for several small and mid-size companies on all aspects of general corporate work, including, shareholder and operating agreements, employment agreements and executive compensation plans, intellectual property licenses and manufacturing and distribution agreements.

Ms. McVeety graduated with honors from Brooklyn Law School and received her B.A. degree in International Relations and Business Administration from Boston University. While in law school, Ms McVeety was an International Business Law Fellow. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Andrew M. Wong - Of Counsel

Andrew M. Wong is of counsel to the firm. Mr. Wong practices in the areas commercial litigation in the State and Federal courts of New York.

Mr. Wong has represented clients from very large corporations to individuals. He has experience in all aspects of the civil litigation process from pleadings, to pretrial motions and discovery, through trial and appeal. He has particular experience in employment contract and employment discrimination contracts cases, defense of lawyers, accountants and brokers in professional malpractice matters, and litigation arising out of real estate developments. He has also handled numerous actions involving alternative dispute resolution processes including arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Wong received his J.D. in from the Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A. in government from Cornell University. While in law school, Mr. Wong was Executive Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
